CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Learn how classroom management is the process teachers use to ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly without disruptive behavior from students compromising the delivery of instruction. This training includes how to implement structure and the prevention of disruptive behavior preemptively, as well as effectively responding to it after it happens. 

CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE TEACHING

Participant will learn how culturally relevant teaching or responsive teaching is a pedagogy grounded in teachers' practice of cultural competence, or skill at teaching in a cross-cultural or multicultural setting. Educator learn methods that encourage each student and how to relate course content to their cultural context.  

De-Escalation

This training provides practical, research-based strategies for educators to use to de-escalate challenging student behavior in the classroom. Despite the development of supportive, safe, and predictable school environments, students may, at times, become agitated, and their behavior may escalate to unsafe levels.  

MANAGING DIFFICULT BEHAVIORS

Address challenging behaviors in this popular session that provides insight into challenging behaviors. In it you will learn techniques that you can use to prevent and respond to these behaviors. These practices encourages children to cooperate and get along with others. This session also includes information on how to recognize and manage triggers model appropriate behavior. 


ADULT WELLNESS Series I

Self-Care: Learn techniques for how to stop absorbing stressors, manage challenging situations, build long-term self-care strategies for all areas of your life, and track your progress. This course gives you the opportunity to help educators build a more grounded, inspired, and sustainable career in education.

ADULT WELLNESS Series II

Compassion Fatigue: Provides training for leadership to help manage the impact of regularly helping people experiencing traumatic stress. The objective: help workers prevent compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and post-traumatic stress.

Trauma- Informed Practices

This training provides participants with practical strategies to manage the behavioral and emotional impact of trauma on children. The training uses the framework of Safety, Connectedness and Regulation. This framework helps illustrate various strategies that educators use to help children regulate their emotions and behaviors in the classroom.

IMPLICIT bIAS

This training is designed to help users learn what bias is, how to recognize it, and how to minimize its impact. In addition, it provides users with knowledge and strategies to create psychological safety and enhance student engagement to foster an inclusive campus culture.
